Landmark Group Appoints Jayanti Ganguly as CEO of Home Centre, India

Most recently, Jayanti successfully led the fashion portfolio at Myntra, where she played a pivotal role in turning around the business and expanding its market share.

Home Centre has announced the appointment of Jayanti Ganguly as the Chief Executive Officer of Home Centre India effective 1st September 2025. 

With over two decades of rich leadership experience across leading fashion retail and e-commerce brands such as Myntra, Flipkart and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Jayanti has consistently demonstrated the ability to scale businesses, drive profitability, and build customer-centric organisations.

Most recently, Jayanti successfully led the fashion portfolio at Myntra, where she played a pivotal role in turning around the business and expanding its market share. During this tenure, she held diverse leadership roles, spearheading international expansion, building marketplace profitability, and scaling omni-channel initiatives with strong revenue outcomes.

She also led the Fashion and Home portfolio at Flipkart Wholesale, shaping sourcing strategy, sales technology, and category development in the B2B space.

Jayanti will succeed Sitaram Kumar who will be closely working with Jayanti to ensure a smooth transition.

A well-respected retail veteran, Kumar joined Home Centre in 2005 and helped grow the brand as a leading national player with strong omni-channel presence. Under Kumar’s leadership, Home Centre earned multiple awards and deepened its connection with Indian consumers.

In her new role, Jayanti will report to Sameer Jain, CEO of New Businesses, based in Dubai, and work closely with the Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd Board. She will be working towards leading Home Centre India into its next phase of growth, expansion and market leadership.

Home Centre’s India journey started in the year 2005 with its first store in Chennai. It has since grown its footprint making its collection across furniture, home décor, soft furnishings and kitchenware accessible to discerning customers. In the 19 years of its presence in India, Home Centre enjoys retailing space with 90 stores footprints in 40 cities.
